About the Product

What Is an L Anchor?

L-shaped connection elements used to fix the members that make up a structure are called L anchors. The L shape is chosen because it gives a much higher load capacity and is practical to apply.

The L Anchor (bracket) is used as the main load-bearing bracket in reinforced concrete buildings. It is available in various sizes in 2 and 3 mm thicknesses, and is produced pre-punched with slots. On our high-tech line it is produced from DX51D+Z as standard; other grades are considered on request within the line's capabilities. The L Anchor can be used horizontally or vertically on the wall, applied at 60–110 cm intervals according to the structural calculation and fixed with heavy-duty anchors. Consumption is 2–4 pieces per square metre, depending on the structural calculation.
