About the Product

What Is a J Profile?

The J profile is a type of metal profile made of steel and used in industrial and construction projects. These horizontal members resemble the letter J, hence the name. Used in the load-bearing systems of buildings, J profiles are easy to install.

The J profile is the horizontal member of the facade connection system. It sits on the main load-bearing L Anchors to form the frame and carries the M profiles vertically. It is fixed with self-drilling screws. It is generally not used vertically, though it may be used in detail solutions on request. Consumption per square metre is 2.7 metres, depending on the structural calculation.
