Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş. Completed the Pre-Production of 48 Light Steel Villas in Turkmenistan

Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş., one of the Hekim Holding companies, carried out the pre-production of the 48 light steel villas at the Ak Yelken facilities in the Avaza Region of Turkmenistan.

The opening of the Ak Yelken facilities was held with a ceremony attended by the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, and many senior state officials.

Having undertaken the pre-production of the 48 light steel villas at the facility, Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş. added yet another project to its list and won admiration with its modern architecture.

The villas in the complex, located on the shore of the Caspian Sea and taking about 2 years to build, were constructed with the Steelin light steel building system using Hekim Profil. Class A1 non-combustible fibercement natural cement boards produced by Hekim Yapı A.Ş. were used for the exterior cladding. Hekim Panel brand sandwich panels filled with rock wool were used for the roof covering. Built with state-of-the-art system technology, the villas were turned into a holiday complex serving the Turkmen people at international standards.

In a speech at the ceremony, Turkmenistan’s President Berdimuhamedow said, “The successful activities of Turkish business circles in our country are bright evidence of their increasing productive partnership in various areas of interstate cooperation, based on the unbreakable friendship ties, centuries-old history and cultural bonds between the peoples of Turkmenistan and Turkey.”

Expressing his satisfaction with the high level of relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey, Berdimuhamedow thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the special importance he attaches to developing cooperation between the two countries. Berdimuhamedow said that Turkey and Turkmenistan are brotherly countries and that Turkmenistan is regarded as the historical homeland of the Turkish people.

Under the KVKK, your personal data will be collected and may be processed by Prefabrik Yapı İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., as the data controller, within the scope described below.

Why Do We Process Your Personal Data?

We process personal data primarily to provide you with better products and services, for the following purposes: to offer you our Company's products and services; to prepare records and documents; to comply with information retention, reporting, disclosure, tax and other obligations under domestic and international legislation; to conduct research, planning and statistical studies; to analyse and archive our customer portfolio and communicate with our customers; to assess customer complaints and suggestions concerning our services; to obtain your opinions and suggestions about new services and products; to provide personalised advertising, campaigns, offers and other benefits as part of sales, promotional and marketing activities aimed at improving the quality of our services and products; and to fulfil our information retention, reporting and disclosure obligations imposed by judicial and administrative authorities.

What Is Permitted in Relation to Personal Data Under the KVKK?

Under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, Prefabrik Yapı İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., as the data controller, may record and store your personal information in physical or electronic form, update, classify and process it within the limits of that law, and disclose it to third parties, transfer it and process it to the extent permitted by legislation and solely for the purposes stated above.

To Whom and for What Purposes May Personal Data Be Transferred?

To fulfil the purposes stated above, Prefabrik Yapı İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., as the data controller under the KVKK, may record and store your personal data in physical or electronic form, update, classify and process it within the limits of that law. To the extent permitted by legislation, it may disclose and transfer your personal data to business partners in Türkiye and abroad, group companies, shareholders, affiliates, individuals or legal entities with which it collaborates, courier companies, banks, individuals or legal entities from which it receives services or with which it collaborates in relation to products/services, and public authorities, and process it, subject to the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

What Does the “Personal Data” We Are Required to Protect Include?

Under Article 3/d of the KVKK, personal data includes identity information, access details and contact information, and any information and documents obtained through transactions under any type of contract that make it possible to identify our suppliers, our suppliers' representatives/employees, our business/solution partners, our business/solution partners' representatives/employees, our subcontractors, our subcontractors' representatives/employees, our customers, our customers' representatives/employees, our prospective customers, our prospective customers' representatives/employees, our employees, our job applicants, our interns, our scholarship recipients, our shareholders/partners, and individuals conducting business with our Company or representatives/employees of private legal entities conducting business with our Company through a legal relationship established under any designation.

How Is Personal Data Collected?

Your personal data may be collected in writing, verbally or electronically through our website; our sales outlets; our company, branch and factory premises; our call centre; our social media accounts; our employees; contracts; our quotation forms; and other channels. Without infringing your fundamental rights and freedoms, our Company will retain the personal data it obtains for the periods specified in the legislation to which it is subject, where such periods are prescribed, or, where no such period is prescribed, for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. What Are the Data Subject's Rights Under the KVKK?

In relation to your personal data, you have the right to:

a) learn whether it is being processed,
b) request information if it has been processed,
c) learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
ç) know the parties to whom it has been transferred, d) request rectification if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
e) request its deletion and destruction subject to the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
f) request that the actions taken under subparagraphs (d) and (e) above be notified to third parties to whom it has been transferred,
g) object to an outcome detrimental to you resulting from its analysis exclusively through automated systems,
ğ) claim compensation for any damage you suffer as a result of its unlawful processing.

Data subjects may submit requests concerning the rights listed above to our Company by preparing an information request using the methods specified below or other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board, together with information and documents establishing their identity. Our Company will resolve the requests included in the application free of charge as soon as possible, depending on the nature of the request, and within thirty days at the latest. However, if the procedure entails an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Board.

1. To request information, a copy of the application form available on our Company's website bearing the applicant's handwritten signature must be delivered in person or through a notary to “Güzelyalı Mahallesi, Egemen Sokak, No.11/3 Pendik/Istanbul”, together with a photocopy of the applicant's identity card/passport establishing their identity.

2. To request information, the application form available on our Company's website must be signed with a “secure electronic signature” under the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 or with a handwritten signature, and emailed to kvkk@prefabrikyapi.com, together with a photocopy of the applicant's identity card/passport establishing their identity. The applicant must send the email using an email address previously provided to the data controller and registered in the data controller's system.

3. For a third party to submit an application on behalf of a data subject, the data subject must grant a special power of attorney, executed through a notary, to the person who will submit the application.
