Making assessments about the company’s activities, Dündar recalled that Hekim Profil was founded in 2014 and is a profile production center where steel is cold-formed with specially designed weld-free construction technology. Stating that the use of cold-formed steel profiles has increased significantly in recent times and has begun to become an indispensable product for steel structures, Dündar noted the following:

Dündar drew attention to the fact that the rate of structural steel use, which varies between 30 and 55 percent in developed countries, is below 5 percent in Turkey.
Noting that 92 percent of Turkey lies within earthquake zones, 95 percent of its population lives under earthquake risk, and 98 percent of its large industrial centers are located in earthquake zones, Dündar used the following statements:

We think the construction sector should give more importance to the use of structural steel and make every necessary investment in this direction.”

Stating that they export to many countries, Dündar said that, as Hekim Profil, their exports to Turkmenistan and the Arab countries are more intensive. Dündar made the following remarks:
“Recently, with the increase in solar energy system projects, we have begun exporting our products to the European market as well, especially Germany. The main reasons our customers abroad prefer Hekim Profil are our brand recognition and the fact that we produce to Euro Norm standards using entirely first-class certified raw material.
The profiles we produce are used in solar energy systems as frame elements (columns, beams, purlins) that make up the module. Pointing out that the sun is the main source of all energies in the world, Dündar emphasized that resources such as oil, coal and natural gas, which are heavily used, are finite, so the energy obtained from them is both expensive and pollutes the environment during use.
